About

I came to Oulu for my Master's, and my thesis is where this all clicked. For my thesis work, I built a system that reads table-tennis strokes from a single wearable IMU and pairs it with an LLM coach, turning raw motion from one tiny sensor into real, actionable feedback. Watching one cheap sensor capture human movement that richly made me ask the obvious next question: if a single IMU can do this, what could the sensors already in everyone's phone, watch, and earbuds do together? That question became Kinet. Professional motion capture costs €2,500–€10,000 in hardware or a camera studio. So millions of indie game devs, VTubers, and 3D creators are locked out and animate by hand for hours. I built a working prototype that turns the phone and watch you already own into a full-body mocap rig, exporting straight into Blender, Unity, and Unreal. I built the whole pipeline end-to-end, solo, in days. It won the LaunchX 2026 pitch competition and a Slush ticket, and I'm now in conversations with investors. I move fast, I ship working things, and I care about making advanced tech accessible, not just impressive.

Experience

  1. Founder & System Arichtect

    Kinet · Oulu, Finland

    June 2026 – Present

Founder of Kinet, building full-body motion capture from the consumer devices people already own, turning a phone and watch into a mocap rig that exports straight into Blender, Unity, and Unreal. I built the entire system end-to-end: live multi-sensor IMU capture, the ML pose pipeline, automatic calibration, a real-time 3D viewer, and industry-standard BVH/FBX export; taking it from idea to a working, demoable product in days.
